Decompress and untar the RealProducer distribution file, realproducer_8.5_linux.tar.gz. Both the RealProducer Basic and RealProducer Plus are part of the same package. A. Unpack the top level distribution by typing: gzip -cd realproducer_8.5_linux.tar.gz | tar xvf - B. This will unpack the following files into the directory: install README (this file) LICENSE realproducer.tar 2. The RealProducer will be installed by using the "install" utility. To use it, simply type ./install and follow the prompts given. To install the RealProducer Plus, you must enter your serial number when prompted by the installer. Otherwise, to install the free RealProducer Basic, type "free" when prompted for the serial number. ------------------------ How to Use RealProducer ------------------------ To begin encoding files with the RealProducer Basic or RealProducer Plus you need to become familiar with the RealProducer options.
